Awards Ceremony - May 21, 2022

Congratulations to all our ECO Champions award winners.  The judges were excited to see how much our participants learned about local species-at-risk.  Medal winners included: Alyx, Bailey & Miley, Jack, Lilly, Maddy, Olive, Riley, and Valerie.

Special Recognition prizes went to: Faye, Malak, Quinn, and Valentina.   And the members of the Sparks/Brownies/Guides received Honourable Mention prizes for their many entries.

Mayor Struthers and Lions Club President Susan Wilkes were on hand to present the awards, along with organizers & judges  Andrea Howard, Stewart Hamill, and Vic Weatherall.  Special thanks to all our supporters, including: The Merrickville Lions Club, Violets on Main Bakery, the Canal Gallery, the Merrickville Phoenix, CoBa Studios, Shelley Innes, Ricky Lee, Francine Lapointe Cote, the Village of Merrickville-Wolford, and the teachers and group leaders who encouraged the kids with their projects.
